Does anyone know where I can find a penny with a heart cut out of it?
Quick story: My wifey once gave me this penny with a heart cut out of it to keep in my wallet. She said it was to remind me of her. One day when my youngest daughter was little (she's 14 now) she did a very unselfish act for a friend of hers. As a token of how proud I was of her, I gave her the heart penny from my wallet. She has treasured it ever since. She has worn in on a chain around her neck on occasions. Well she lost it somehow and wanted to know if I could get her another one for Christmas.
It's just a penny with a simple heart shaped stamped out of it. Where does one find these? Help!
Where's the part in the description where they explain that is a federal offense to disfigure official exchange?
That's a great story Andy. You seriously should get a whole set of those so your whole family has them.

that sounds really cool, wish i could help you find one. my kids would like somthing like that too. my stepdad used to make rings out of quarters and the year would be on the inside, so you would have a quarter ring with your birth yr in it
we were too poor to use quarters on the train tracks.
we had to use kittens.
Peek... every time you harm a kitten.... God kills someone masturbating......

... or is that the other way around?
Thanks SW! That's it! I tried so many different searches but only came up with very intricate designs.
Baimun, saw this on a coin cutting site.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Legality of coin cutting:
Section 331. Title 18, U.S. CODE: Prohibits among other things the fraudulent alteration and mutilation of United States and foreign coins. This statute does not prohibit the mutilation of coins if done without fraudulent intent or if the mutilated coins are not used fraudulently.
